Knowledge Solutions to present at “2008 Northeast Lawson User Group Mega Meeting” on “Lawson Data Archiving”

On September 17, 2008 Chet Godleski, VP Lawson Solutions & Services for Knowledge Solutions, LLC, a Lawson ERP Software Services Partner, will be presenting at the “2008 Northeast Lawson User Group (NELUG) Mega Meeting” on the topic “Lawson Data Archiving.” Held on September 15-17, 2008 at the Mystic Marriott, Groton, Connecticut, the User Group is made up of hundreds of Lawson Software customers who use the ERP’s Financial, HR/Payroll and Procurement/Supply Chain Applications. The Northeast Lawson Users come together annually to learn about Lawson’s new products and technologies. This year, NELUG will celebrate its 10-year Anniversary.
The presentation will provide the audience with an overview of the best practice approach for archiving Lawson ERP data. Godleski will explain the benefits, considerations, policy decisions and implementation methodologies for data archiving along with tips & techniques on how to launch a successful data archiving project. As companies plan to upgrade their Lawson Applications to the new Version 9.0 Platform they are becoming concerned with the amount of data that must be migrated during the upgrade process. Godleski added “By implementing a best practices approach to manage data growth via an intelligent archiving solution, future Lawson upgrade projects will benefit from faster performance, lower infrastructure costs and minimized conversion timeframes.”
